Program Notes

Northbound was one of two pieces commissioned by Frame Dance Productions for its second METRODances event, which took place on the northbound red line of Houston’s METRORail. As the train approaches downtown, the city environment becomes more active: more traffic, more people, faster pace, and more intersections of life in general. — Charles Halka
