Entropía / Neguentropía (Entropy / Negentropy) was written for ÓNIX Ensamble and commissioned by the Barlow Endowment for Music Composition. From soft, breathy murmurs and sparkling resonances to sharp stabs and explosive runs, the work alternately absorbs and releases energy on a journey through various changes of state as the music searches for equilibrium.
